About

With years of catering social and private events for families and friends, owners Sophia Chambers  and Patrick Palmer has long had the idea of Sunlight Catering percolating in their minds, just waiting for the perfect time to come to fruition. The unfortunate pandemic has given us the time and the opportunity finally to start Sunlight Catering and Rental Service.

From intimate family gatherings to opening night galas, our chef uses fresh ingredients to provide you and your guests some of the most delicious meals you'll ever have.  We offer authentic, trendy and international catering menus.  We cater for people from a range of different social and ethnic backgrounds while managing the creative details that will make your event wonderfully successful and memorable.

  • Quality cuisine is available for all budgets and events – box lunches to deli platters, high-end to multi-course events
  • Packages range from 20 people and up
  • Our menus are diverse and include dishes from the Caribbean, Latin America, East & South Asia and Europe
  • Catering orders include all necessary utensils and condiments in quantities consistent with your order, either in disposable packaging or chaffing dishes

 

Catering

We offer full-service catering at venues throughout Miami, Hialeah, West Palm Beach, and Key West.  A representative from our company readily available to answer any questions and provide you with a specific cost estimate for your event.

 

Delivery or Pick-Up

Food from our catering menu is available for pick-up or delivery.  For delivery, there is a $50-$75 fee and a $300 minimum food purchase.  For pick-up, we do not charge a fee, but we require a $150 minimum purchase. 

To ensure quality and proper presentation, hot buffets and plated meals for large events are not available for delivery or pick-up.  For these, Sunlight Catering and Rental will deliver and service meals through the course of your agreed-upon meal time. 

We recommend you place your delivery or pick-up order at least 7 business days prior to your event.

Sophia began her career in hospitality 15 years ago with one of the top luxury brands in the Miami area.  With Sunlight, she brings her passion and experience to helping materialize her clients' visions for their weddings, social and corporate events.  The lasting relationships she builds each day with satisfied and happy clients are her greatest rewards.



Patrick Palmer
Owner / Executive Chef

Chef Patrick started his culinary career 27 years ago. His passion for food and culture driving him to venture into a world of culinary delights.  When you taste his dishes you can feel the love and passion in every bite.  With an extensive banquet and catering background stemming from years of experience at several elite hotels, Chef Patrick has an incredibly unique eye for presentation, creation and, of course, taste!  He has brought his passion for flavor and hard-won gourmet expertise to thousands of tables and smiling people.  Whether you crave Italian, French, Caribbean, American, Mediterranean, Latin, or Asian flavors at your private event or wedding, Chef Patrick will create an unforgettably magnificent gourmet experience.
